About the Artist

Abstract Painter ยท Auburn, California
Where light, layers and intuition meet.
Greta D'Amico is a visual artist based in Auburn, California, working in acrylic, oil, and cold wax. She began self-training in 2017, moving from sketching and colored pencil into acrylics, before pursuing formal study through the Evolve program, where she continues to develop classical oil painting technique and realism. In 2023, seeking a counterbalance to that precision, she studied oil and cold wax with Lisa Mann in Naxos, Greece — a shift that opened her practice toward abstraction, texture, and intuitive mark-making. Her work now moves between these two ways of seeing: structured and spontaneous, deliberate and discovered. She has exhibited at Blue Line Arts (Roseville), the Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento), and the Art League of Lincoln, and participates in the Placer Artists Tour.
